When you receive an email message from the system, it will look something like this:

This is a TEST of the Massasoit Community College Emergency Alert System. This is only a TEST.

NOTE: The message sender will be listed as Rave Alert just as you see it above.

Information has been pre-loaded into the new database from Banner and by import from the old emergency notification system.

If you have not already done so, please access this portal and enter your preferred contact information by clicking on the following link:

www.getrave.com/login/massasoit

You should enter your preferred phone number(s), email address(es), and other optional notification information such as your mobile and text messaging information.

NOTE: None of the information that you supply will be used for data collection within the College or share with anyone outside the College.

This is an important part of protecting and informing everyone in the Massasoit community, of events and circumstances that may affect their safety and wellbeing, as well as keeping you informed of important events at the college such as school closings.

Everything about this system is optional, however the more contact information you are willing to share, the better the system will work for you.

Thank you for recognizing the importance of emergency preparedness.
