Paying for College

Payments

Students must pay their bill in full by the due date listed on their schedule/invoice. Failure to make full payment or have your bill cleared by the Student Central Office will result in schedule cancellation.

Students can make payment by cash, check, or MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card in the Student Central Office in Brockton, or at the Canton Campus. Students can also pay online by going to the MYMASSASOIT Portal, Registration & Financial Services, Make a Payment link.

A payment plan is available to all registered students through Nelnet Business Solutions. This is an online payment plan where students make monthly payments via their credit card or automatic bank payment (ACH). There is a fee of $35.00 per semester to join the payment plan.

Student Insurance

The Massachusetts Universal Health Care Law requires students enrolled in nine credit hours or more to have health insurance. The Massachusetts Community Colleges offers insurance to students through Gallagher Koster located in Quincy, MA. The insurance fee is included on your bill. Students who have their own health insurance can waive the fee by completing a waiver form located on the Student Home page of the portal.

Third Party Payments

Student educational expenses are sometimes covered by third party agencies. In order for the Business Office to bill a third party, a contract must be established. Students should have the agency contact the Business Office in writing to authorize this form of payment.

Refunds

Students withdrawing from courses should be aware of the tuition refund policy.
